Switching from Procharger D1SC to S480 BW Turbo ( condensed )

    sorry I missed ya .

    This thing is endless ..........

    still have to hook up the crutch , boost controller , A/C , vac pump , windshield wipers / washer , cowl pieces , grill , bumper , cold side , BOV , more wiring , transmission blanket , interior parts , more wiring , new brake booster , more wiring ..... ........

    I think its a standard pressure high volume .

    The last motor was on the loose side . Cold was around 60 and hot about 25 at idle .

    I havent had it hot enough yet though , so we'll see .

    Mine is set at .0025" and it makes about 70 when cold. It drops to 25 when warm. :cheers:

    Yea ! its been down the road 3 times today !

    Really rich going into boost . :bah:

    I had my wastegate hooked up wrong on one run ........... made 20psi . lol

    What turbo are you running now?

    Same turbo .

    Only thing different is the cam .

    Seems to spool a little better and looks like it will make a little more boost . Had to move the opening point of the PVs from 2psi to 4psi . Only reason I can think of is the boost is coming in quicker .

    I do know it will make 20 now . lol









    I did figure out why it made 20 though .

    I have my W/A pump on the same boost switch as my PVs though the 7531 box . The W/A pump is also wired to my boost controller switch .

    Can you see where I'm going with this ? :doh: When the motor went into boost , the 7531 turned the water pump on and the 12volts back feed the boost controller switch turning it on . It was set on kill . lol

    I saw this on page 4 or 5 and made me LOL!

    Did you take out all your spare tire stuff to mount your fuel cell? If you did, did you reenforce it any? I think I need a fuel cell cause if I dont have a .5 a tank the stupid thing noses over from lack of fuel. I need to get that fixed before I get boosted so I do destroy it in 5 seconds!
