    It sure is.I took it apart when I got it and got the metal shavings out of it.

    I've heard the chinese turbos and wastegates etc known to have metal debris in them.

    At least spray brake cleaner into the oil drain hole,and blow it out with air :2thumbs:

    i have been watching this thread, i would subscribe if i knew how.
    nu2dfw have you had a chance to make it to the track?
    do you know how much the turbo itself weighs?
    I think i read your motor is all stock, what do you think it would run like on a 331 with victor jr. heads?

    Where's the cheapest place to get one of these? Yeah, I know the $285 they're going for on ebay right now is cheap, but since this is all about being niggardly, I figured I'd ask if anyone knows where to get them for even less. It's looking like the big block stroker turbo isn't gonna happen so a mild 351W turbo is gonna be the thing... and I don't think a mild street 351 is gonna spool the TV8102 very well.

    Check google, there are lots of links just like that one - madeinchina.com etc. I dunno if the ebay guys get theirs from an importer, or deal direct with the factory.
