Randy you do know thats not the right way to sharpen your tungsten , doing it like that will give you an unstable arc . Im not saying you need a tungsten grinder i have a small 5" bench grinder i use and only use it for that and grind towards the point and i even run mine on a scotch brite disk to polish it some and can get an arc the size of a pin head , if needed but it just welds better all around.

:agree: And you are right ,I am not proud of it but i had to work with what i got at that time.
I was wondering who was going to get it,you always can tell who really welds with the little stuff like that.
thanks for the reminder that will keep me on my toes... :fear:

Thats going to be a tough one Randy, per Dr's orders no spraying paint. Since my surgery i can't wear a resperratior , well i can wear it but it wouldn't do anything seeing how i now breathe through a hole in my neck. Im looking at the whole fresh air supplyed suits but have not made up my mind if i want to lay out 2K for something i would rarely use.

I am not done with the engine bay yet ,but it is a time consuming project.... :(
I still have to weld a hole bunch of holes & I am winging it all the way.....

Randy one thing that will save you a lot of time on those small holes is to put that nice tig up and mig them, its a whole lot faster and your going to grind them flush anywhy. :poke:
