Sweet build, love these old trucks. :2thumbs: My plant manager has a 64 F100 and while he's not a big HP guy, loves the old rat rods. Here's his:

That is my brothers hand. He was working on a friends truck and got it caught in a electric fan. He just had surgery the other day and will be in a cast for 4wks. He is lucky he didn't hit the bone, just cut the tendon.

    I love this build!

I actually owned one exactly like this when I was 14. 351W, 4 speed, etc. Same color but mine was white from the trim down. Dad ended up selling it before I could drive. Had big plans, slam it, built motor, paint, etc.

I have been collecting parts. I got my AEM wideband, some tubing, and a boost retard. Hoping to start the serious work soon

I'd probably end up with the HX60 over the HT3B. The reason is that it has a normal rotation scroll which will make putting a bigger/badder turbo on it easier.

I used an HT3b on mine, mainly because I had one. It's a little bit slow to spool, but still gets to 10 psi by 4000. Makes enough power to put a big smile on my face.

i have a turbo stock 460 in my maverick and when i first got it together i had a 91mm garret with a 110mm minor turbine and the 460 would not spool it now i have a s475 standard and i like it it spools much better and it will max out just above my power goal with the other turbo it would support allmost twice what i wanted to do so i was just loosing spool up time for no reason
