Yeah, but was it a 2JZ-GE, or GTE? I'll let you guess what the T stands for. ;)

Look at all that smog and electrical junk you get to pull off of that thing!

Very interesting build, I really like the look of the old celica's.

It's always nice to be one off instead of the same as everyone else.

Looks good. How much room does it look like you are going to have in front of the motor? Are you going to try to fit an A/A cooler up there or are you going with an A/W or alky?

I know this is a total newbie queestion. In a project like yours. What is the things to do list to drop in a different motor in a chassis like yours. What do have complete to get the trans and motor mounted. How do you make sure the drive shaft is angled right? Thanks I really appreciate it. Chris

On my set up is easy. I have a front clip. I have everything off of the donor car(engine, transmission, wiring,ECU,and so on). all I have to do is setup the engine in the car level and make engine mounts.
Even the body is a 71 celica. engine and trans wise. this car is a Supra with a better rear suspension.

with my 4 link rearend I can change the pinion angle. I can move the drive shaft up or down or side to side.
    I hope that helped.

I'm going to use a/w. I'm trying to move the engine back as far as I can.

    hi everyone.
    here is a small update.
I move the engine back a little more today. I'm almost there. I think I need to move just a 1/2 inch more. But, to do that I will need to notch the cross member. check out the pics...

I had a little time today to work on the car. here is a few pics.
I still have more cutting to do. I now need to get the back end of the trans up a little higher. So that means more of the transmission tunnel needs to come out.
