that color would be nice...and a 2jz would be badass as well...BUT there is always a rb26 option as well since youre already going against the grain!

    Hi everyone

I had a small setback today.... :bang: I found a small crack in the third member housing today. The crack is right next to the pinion support
Bearing. So I had to try and find a new housing today.
I found a new housing on Ebay and I bought it. I hope to have it soon and rebuild the third member.
I'm also still waiting for my axles....
This project is going to kill me.
    Thanks for listing...

    Small up date.
I just changed third members now. It now has a third member with the same gear ratio (411) but it now has a big bearings 35 spline strange spool rearend.
and now I have to order new axles again. :bang:
But now I have sooo much more room to grow.
I happy with that. I hope to have a bigger up date soon

Neat. When I was 18 or 19 I had a mustard yellow 76 GT liftback as a DD because the firebird I had then hardly ever ran. I did absolutely perverse things to that poor car, and it never even flinched. In the end, rust got the best of it, but I always wished I could find another one. I guess it affected me because I've owned a Toyota ever since.

I had a 78 Rolla and have always remembered how good of a car it was. Keep thinking of something cool to do to one like what you have. A friend of mine has a cousin who did a 1jz in a rolla around here(which was bad ass till it popped a motor) and Ira has a rotary in his(who is a member here). Do a serch on it and it will give you some more drive to build something outside the fox. Looks good bro!

wow, thats an odd place for that to crack, only places i've seen them crack is in the pinion yoke, and more on the left side of that little bearing, which is sometimes pretty thin, but not the webbing.

Did that thing make any noise???

    Yes, it an odd place.
I'm glad I found it before I put in this car. I'm sure it made all kinds of noise under a load.
