It's been awhile but started getting some more stuff done on the car. Been thinking of getting some of the ignition stuff squared away but not really sure what parts to run. I'm using the holley HP EFI and was thinking of running a crank trigger. Whats the best setup guys have used? Which distributor and crank trigger? hall effect or magnetic? can anybody recommend some part numbers?

So today a good buddy of mine that works at a Chevy dealership hooked me up. He gave me a whole set of new 2016 corvette LT1 coils part #GM12619161. I'm going with the coil near plug and still need to figure out which crank trigger to go with. Doing some research and looks like i can use the Explorer cam sync.

Got the upgraded parts for the TH400, Aluminum direct clutch drum, and 300m input shaft and forward drum. Should be good to hold 1200 flywheel HP.

When you cut the wells out and boxed the frame did you leave the frame tapered and narrow like in the first couple pics?

Yes, by doing so you get a lot more tire clearance.

No extreme loss in strength by doing so? Or did you do something to increase frame size in side the frame rail?
