my 70 fastback mustang

    I know who he is. I'm a big believer of the 400m ford motor and he shows why. I figured they where jegs brand heads cause of the scribing on the front. Since I haven't bought heads yet, I'll be looking forward to seeing how they work for ya. Carry on.

    hey 1hcam does your oil dip stick above the line show a little water/oil mix after its run for awhile since we are running e85?

    the trans is a th400 with a btw billet aluminum t brake and a 245mm m and m converter. it has a steel stator and a mechanical diode. the adapter plate is home made.

    No I haven't noticed anything out of the norm. I know its due for an oil change though. It's been a while. Is it running any better?

    yes it is I change the required fuel to 5.1 from 3.7 3.7 is the required fuel for regular gas 5.1 is the required fuel for 85 Ashford told me to put that in there and it worked

    Hey that's cool. He is right. When I figured it I forgot you used E85. How much longer before you get to start driving it?

    yes it has been running better since I switch the requirement to 5.1

    you're on a mega squirt 3 are you use in low impedance injectors and if you are what kind of injector driver are you useing

    High impedence here. Pretty sure I'd still need a driver if I went low imp.

    this is about what my bbf blue thunder heads flowed and they had the bbc exhaust ports

    yes you do. I wish diy would come up with a mega squirt that you can run low imp right out of the box.

    I made a few changes to lighten up the front end and gain some accessibility I also had to add 2 1/4 inches to the fenders and the cowl panel because of big intercooler.

    got two 3 1/2 borla xr-1 mufflers tuck in behind front tire. hopefully they don't make to much back pressure.

    got the frame, roll cage, and misc painted. mocking up for mufflers and flex joints.[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]#ad

    yea I have. trying to get it done before summer so I can enjoy it. does it look better then before with the inner fender wells removed?

    Ya it looks good. Are you going to put new ones in when you put the fenders back on? It won't be clean for long if you don't. Lol
