Pick up a $30 angle grinder and an assortment of wheels. Doesn't bind up and cut your arm off like a cutoff wheel in a die grinder.

Why not buy three 2v modular flanges and do some cutting and welding? :welder:

Race Part solutions will make the flanges. Awesome turbo your holding in that pic. I'm running a single on my built v6 and it spools incrediblly fast and still making power at 6000rpm at 500rwhp. Think I'm going to push it to 600 just to say I have a 600rwhp v6 lol.

Other thought on the flanges is to buy 3 like mentioned above and just make each side a 2 piece flange instead of having new ones made or trying to weld 2 pieces together. Seen alot of header designs this way. That how I would do it anyway.

    You can't run slim fans?

Also are you keeping the stock intake manifold? By now it looks like you could fab up an intake.

I moved my radiator foward a good 6", dont know if your keeping ac though. If you do go with a pusher check clearance with your intercooler if your running a front mount.

When it comes to intercooler locations, the #1 worst location would be inside the exhaust system. Second worst location is buried down in the valley. Talk to 10secgoal about this idea before you go any further.

This build is nice! :2thumbs: I just picked up a v10 engine as well and started dreaming up ideas. You should really checkout www.fordtruckzone.com

That guy cut up and welded two Ford Lightning 5.4L lower intakes to make an intercooled intake for the v10. He used a supercharger but you could easily make an upper intake "hat" to do whatever you needed. You can usually find Lightning intakes on Lightningrodder.com or other Ford Lighting forums with classified sections. Just thought I'd throw that out there because it doesn't require so much fab work since the Lighting intake bolts right up to the v10, minus the missing 2 ports lol. The factory Lightning A/W intercooler can be bolted to the plate you weld to the new lower intake and the "upper" part of the intake can bolt to that plate as well. Here's a quick picture I made to explain it a bit better. Just wanted to share that idea, I'll end up going this route whenever I get started on my build. :)
