My T76 BB MAde right at 700RWHP with 93 oct and 13 degree timing but at 25PSi. we turned the boost down to 15-17 (I hate MBC) with 15 degrees it is 553 RWHP. this is thru a stick on a 4.6 .020" over

    Yeah still with the .81 housing I went up to 16lb's and made 644hp/690tq, 20psi = 702/699, 22psi = 721/709, 27psi = 737/714. With the .81 it pretty much hit a brick wall @ 700rw.

It won't. We are still narrowing down stall and rear gear, but once we come up with the best combo, it'll be nasty on the street or strip

I trapped 124 with a 4,000lb auto, turbonetics tc76 .81 housing, 20psi built shortblock, everything else except the valve springs was stock. Calculators put it at around 650 flywheel hp.

I have a 5.4L 2 valve with a PT76 .96. 700 rwhp is not a problem. I make about 640ish with 16 psi through a open converter and a C4 on pump gas and a water/meth shot. C4s/race converter setups are horrible for dyno numbers. 5 speed would be well over 700 rwhp. Keep the rear end gear stock or close. The 5 speed will be fun to drive but an auto with a well designed converter will be much faster at the track.

I also make full boost at a somewhat lower RPM than other have stated. About 3500 rpm. That's the larger displacement helping out I'm sure.

Just for those curious, I once blocked off the wastegate plate and pulled it on the dyno. (Yes, I was pissed at it at the time). At about 3800 rpm it was making about 780 rwhp and 35 psi before all of the spark plugs started shooting around the roof of the dyno! Sucked to fix but was actually pretty funny. I was pissed because I couldn't figure out why it wasn't hitting on all cylinders. Turns out some coil and injector wires were shorting in the computer harness at the firewall. The firewall had rubbed through the rubber grommet and was chafing the wires to ground. So I'm guessing it could have made more. :-(

    Thanks and good luck.
