    The Truck:

Motor is mostly stock 351w. Plan for AFRs and a cam later this year.

    The plan:

    BW S366,.91 AR Housing
    BBK 1 5/8" shorties,2.5" hot side
4" DP, steel in the motor compartment, alum back to the axle
    Vibrant Alum Muffler
    Precision Gate
    Turbosmart BOV
    Treadstone IC
    3" cold side

Aeromotive Phantom Flex pump in the rear tank
Braided SS lines to Professional Products rails
    Holley 66 lbs/hr injectors
    Aeromotive regulator

Truck already has Holley HP on it,so tuning won't be a prob.

    Some of the goodies:

Aeromotive pump mounted. Like this thing, looks like it'll work well.

Wow, it's a way bigger job to put a CV in those trucks than a dentside! Fascinating.

^^ Yeah there is a bit more to it. Of course I'm complicating things a bit myself!

Cut the bushing end off of the FatMan uppers and drill/tap for 3/4" Heims. Got one done tonight.

I'm going to grind/smooth the welds on the side plate with the holes, hell if I welded them a little better I could just leave em.

Your to hard on yourself Brian.
It looks like a very nice job you are doing and a lot of work!
What is the reason for the holes anyways? It can’t just be for lightning?
Looks killer, although I liked the drop beams, the conversion should be awesome when done.
      Did you sell the beams?

Thanks Guys. The boxing plates were just ugly and looked unfinished,so my fix was to cut out and weld in a new piece. The holes were an afterthought to improve the look. I had planned on grinding the welds on that piece thinking it'd just look better smooth...so when I welded them I did it in 2-3" runs. Now that they're done,if had welded in one run,I'd prob not grind.

If you missed it in post 14, here's what the plates looked like:

I think you did the right thing with the plates. I do the same thing, even with the holes, which I assume no one will ever see.
