yes, Sir & theres more coming.

I just started making a little more room for the BIG SHOES

    btw
just wanted to point out that the oem lower control arms brackest measures 3" wide
the fox body rear end housing that we are using ,we narrow it to 50" overall

99-04 8.8 housings are 55.5" from flange to flange.

79-98 8.8 housings are all the same width 54 1/8" from flange to flange.

A non ABS axel sticks out of the housing 2 1/2" ---- ABS axels sticks out of the housing 3 1/4"

Strange axels 31,33 & 35 splines they are the same thick .

    Winter upgrades:

So we order a Team Z 8.8" Complete Brace Kit for $219.< here on Friday>

The Complete Brace Kit come with both the Forward Brace kit and the Bottom Brace to ensure that you get the most support out of your 8.8" housing. *Both kits will limit twisting and bending that may occur with higher horsepower. *The front holes by the pinion must be drilled out to 7/16" to accommodate the hardware for the forward brace.

Are you keeping that 8.8 stock length? Looks great. Was thinking of adding some bracing to mine but also considered going 9". Any particular reason you built the 8.8 rather than going 9"?

she been very naughty, just the way I like her

not stock length this one is 50" overall

    Thank's

A well built 8.8 with the right parts & good bracing will run low 7's with out any issues

I always like rigging stuff up ,I am not an engineer just an average joe trying to be quick using stuff that I got laying around.
Anyone can dump bags of money to buy speed, but there is some kind of pride in doing it yourself with left over parts..

    just my .02 cents

    mock -up

on this one we move the lower control arms 1" in to clear wider rims ,so now we're gonna fit the lower brace to fit our application...

Exactly what I'm planning to run in mine. Except I picked up a set of strange rear brakes for 9" ends for a heck of a deal so I was contemplating switching to them.
