I made some collectors not too long ago similar to how you made yours.
I used 15 degree bends though , im planning on putting slip joints on my collectors.

Yes we got to the winter nats.
I go there with frends that running in Super Gas. We was very impresed of the performance from the cars in the Top Doorslamer class. Much turbos and lot homemade stuff. Nice.

    Hello guys!

Here are some pics of the progress i made with some small work on my headers.

    [IMG]#ad

I started to weld together 4 pcs of 20mm (3/4) axels.

    [IMG]#ad

Then i took it to the lathe and, machined a cone in the end of it, so it would fit in the pipes.

    [IMG]#ad

The result, it will be pressed in the pipes to make it scuare.

    [IMG]#ad

Here it is in the workshop press.

    [IMG]#ad

The hammer helpt me to get some space for the bults

    [IMG]#ad

The result. Now its time to weld it on the flanges.

    [IMG]#ad

Here some of them are spot welded.

I also made a big thick place to use when i'm going to do the finishing welds on the headers.

    Hello Klabbe,

nice work you do. May be this help with my exhaust. The turbos that I buy from ShaneH was here now.

Jes I have seen the PickUp very nice and clean. I was only freiday in Malmo and now I unddersand the name "Winternats" it was so stormy and cold that we sit most time in our heated camper. The rain was so heavy that we have not see very much, but you can be sure that we was there next year and maybe start in SSB.
