Finally got my sleeper back out

    Who's transmission are you using? Are did you put all the updated stuff in like the front drum and sun shell!

    I built the trans, it's actually still a pushbutton shifter with manual valve body!

    It has...

    Four Alto Red Direct clutches
    Four Stock replacement rear clutches
    Stock used 2nd gear band
    4.2 lever
    Steel front drum (for safety more then anything)
    Coan Super Sprag (Stock one failed after about 25 hard trans brake launches)
    5 pinion steel front planetary (Stock 3 pinion aluminum one spun on the output shaft when the pinion broke last year, so I just upgraded while I had it apart.)
    Tranzact Trans brake valve body


    Nothing too special. A 727 is really pretty damn strong... they don't need too many special parts to live.

    Yes they are, I have another trans that I'm going to put together with a brake I have planets out a of 47re that going to use also thanks for the info!

    Just an FYI if you don't already know this. A stock 47re planet will not work in a 727. The spline pressure angles are different. It will physically fit, but will fail in short order. You can use a 47re planet, it just needs to be re broached to the right spline. That's exactly what is in mine. You can get them for about $325.

    Yeah you got it... 6AL-2. Just a blaster 2 coil, and Summit Wires. NGK -9 plug
