I am doing the same build. I am going with a 76 mm (over the 66mm I have now) with .81A/R as it is just a street car with occasional track time. Teksid block, Manley rods & pistons, and alot of input from MMR. I will use stock heads and cams, MMR or Melling oil pump, all ARP hardware with at least 9.0 C/R. Eventually I want to put a TH400 in it but have the stock T45 for now until grenade it this year at the track. I have time on my side and I usually look on the classifieds for deals for parts as I am collecting now for the inevitable rebuild this winter. I have big plans but not a big wallet, so I may just be talking $hit too... but I do have parts for the rebuild now.

well if your goal is to go right to 700 then 255 , 42's and such will be a waste

Either use a multiple pump setup like the FORE, or get a big external pump and a sumped tank. 83's should be ok for 700-750 i think.

yes why put parts that are 2 small to start...

    83's a a1000 minimum

is everything else capable of this 700+???
do you have this plan drawn out

Well if not here is a list.

    A1000 or Magnafuel 625

    -12 from tank to pump
    -10 from pump to firewall
    -10 Y to (2) -8's feeding rails (UPR's, Aeromotive,ect)
-8's from rails to Regulator( you may want one with a boost reference)
-8 from Regulator to tank for drain
you will need a good vent on the tank too, with a rollover valve.

This setup is more than enough for 700. :2thumbs:

    You can probably run a -8 feed to a Y with (2) -6's going to the rails, and a -6 return. Same Aeromotive A1000 or a Magnafuel 525. 60-72lbers
BUT... if you are planning on stepping it up eventually then go for what I first said. There is no need to do things twice. I always go overkill so there is room to grow but thats just how I am.

yeah i agree better safe than sorry! i just didn't think I had to change the entire system! how much power can i produce with the 42s and the 255 intank and stock rails? cause i'll have lots of money already wrapped up in the rotating assembly and machine work and the turbo kit!
