Went 8.50 racing last saturday (Dennis did) and we did well. Got knocked out in the second round, we only had one qualifying pass but first pass went 8.59@159. Dropped the boost back to 16.5psi. Went 1.32 60'. Second round car was on a good pass again but were too far out in front of other car and thought we were going to break out, got out of throttle and went 8.64@146 on a 1.33 60' time, to a 8.64@156. Only got one good video, here it is.&list=UUzaS0zePCzgAS_sSnt8AM4Q&index=1Anthony[/url]

Sorry, meant the other car went 8.62@156.

It was the only car on radials, and only turbo car in the 8.50 class. Everyone else was getting towed back, we drove back, HAHA.

Crazy couple days at MIR to say the least! Friday during the test session we made 2 passes, first pass spun a little and went

    and second pass went

with a 1.32 60'. We feel that is great as that is the 3rd track we have been to and the car runs consisitently the same times with little to no tuning changes. On saturday before the cruise made one test hit and we went

( dont know the MPH). Thats when things got a little crazy. We coasted across the stripe as dennis smelled fuel, turns out one of the fuel rail hold down bolts backed loose in the manifold and and popped off a couple injectors and the manifold was doused in fuel, luckily it didnt catch fire and was repaired. Because of that the learn in the Holley went bananas and started throwing a bunch of fuel at it and killed the o2 sensor with raw fuel. We had a spare so that was changed out. THen right before the drivers meeting he finds #1 plug was broke. So his buddy that went with him changed that out while he was at the drivers meeting. Went on cruise and came back, no issues. Go make first hit and the car noses over and went a 9.98. Not allowed to touch the car but all vitals were fine and engine sounded great, so we finished out our passes with a 10.64 and 10.52, LOL. Come to find out, the co2 feed line had a hole in it and leaked all the co2 out of the tank, we had no boost and no boost control! We were all feeling kind of bummed, but what can you do? Learn for next time.

Dennis went to the scoring booth and somehow, we won the MIR true street with a f'ing 10.40 average! The only other 8 second car in the field broke his transbrake the first pass and had a DNF and the next fastest car was running 10.60's to 10.90's. Even with all the problems we still had some luck on our side this weekend!

A great event with alot of great racers. During testing all went great and could easily have nailed down an 8.50 average which was our goal. Just prior to the racers meeting...thats when the crazy stuff stuff happened! A few of the other faster cars had issues and DNF...luckily w had enough to win the event!
