well now that the steering shaft is connected... my a arms are a little over 1/4 wider then the UPRs i had in the car. these are 89 QA1s vs. 00 UPRs.

edit: after a little bit of heat and seperating the kmember a arm mounts...i was able to install one of the a arms.

 

started on the aerospace manual brake conversion today and things went smooth. got the old MC off but no luck wit the right hardware for the aerospace kit. 1 quick stop to the hardware store tomorrow and the swap should be done.

 

nice build, i had a question regarding the cam lobe, it looks like its pretty hammered imo

 

i bought the cams from a guy on corral "shop owner" and told me the cams will be fine. there is no makes on the part of the lobe which has contact.

only did the suspension/steering tonight. the brake pads i got were wrong so im on hold again. i should have just bought some aerospace and been done with it.

just ran into more problems getting an alignment. 00 spindals with 87 manual rack = to short. anyone do anything to get around this?

 

maybe a bump steer kit? could possibly take care of your problem.

 

Thats what I told him the other day. Adam you need a bumpsteer kit for more adjustment dude!

 

i put my upr kit on it and it only has 7 threads on it. aje is going to custom make somthing for me.

 

i think the 91-93 rack is longer, i had the same prob with my foxmod...
