Are you making those plates or buying them from S&W or something? Looks great! Hopefully you'll never need to remove that center section, but if you do it'll be damn nice to have.

It does! I'm actually excited about how light it was. I've been thinking it was going to end up on the heavy side, with the steel floor and tubs, but I'm not so sure now. If it's under 3000lbs I'll be happy.

As many have stated. Awsome fab work. The "pace" of completion is also incredible.
Thanks for all the posted details for us to drool over.

^ Thanks ^, I'm on a mission for sure. I'm enjoying the build, but I'm also missing having a running hot rod! I "might" take a breather when it comes back from the chassis shop...or hell that might light another fire and get me going again!

Making it look easy. I know that comes with experience, maybe once I'm in the new house and can actually have some clean work space I can step it up a bit. I'm usually not a fan of tubbed cars but this thing is slick. Probably helps its from the best era of Ford.

Chassis shop low on CM tubing,so I'm waiting. Hopefully not too long. :bang:

Staying busy fitting more sheet metal. I can only fit so much until I need to start welding in place to continue, about there now.

Got the floor flange for the DS tunnel done.

    [IMG]#ad

DS tunnel is going to stop at the DS loop. A little loop left out for the trans tunnel to attach to.

Here's a WHOOPS! When I marked the firewall for the trans tunnel,I forgot about the roughly 4" in added height of the floor at a 45 degree transition.
Have an idea to fix,we'll see.

    Oops...
Looks close enough that a former 90deg ish angle flange could be used. Along with calling it "planned"

Added some diagonals, and started on a flange for the trans tunnel to be removable. Then got the word the chassis shop was ready for it.

When I got the call,I rolled it out and dropped it off that day!
