Not even street tested. I just backed out of the garage and put it on the trans brake a couple times. Then looked at the data logs from that and the last track outing. They were almost identical even though the co2 pressure was 20 psi less due to the cold weather. So very promising. Time to play with the 3 step and the spool up feature on the AEM. Hopefully we can get this set up to spool real quick for a Pro tree. :chacha:

And "few years'? You mean by summer right? ;)

Damn, mike, that EPM or whatever AEM calls it is un-necessarily tall. Hope it fits under my IC, might have to mod it. Is the gear on it steel or nylon?

And you know im always ready for valvecover work, that's my specialty! :2thumbs:

If you find a way to mod it, I would like to send you mine. I want to go front mounted t/b inlet and could use all the extra space for hood clearance.

Hey Mike, let's do your wheels so you can put the tailpipes back on!

I have not checked it against a stock distributor. As it sits I don't think your going to save to much room. I didn't really look at it as I have not been home much the last few days. Home and right to bed. But I think it is a steel gear with a coating on it. I will check it out tonight and let you know.
What are you waiting for? Order a system and a turbo. lol
I told you I am ready when you are. Just let me know where to bring the rims and where. I will get the tires taken off asap and bring the stuff over. The tail pipes look and sound so much better. Gotta get them back on the car. :2thumbs:

OK Well here is a quick comparison of the EPM and a 8.2 deck height distributor body I have laying around. You can see it will not save much height at all. You have to remember cast intakes have the water crossover that the distributor has to clean. Your intake may have more clearance they way you make it. And the EPM is thinner and more compact than the factory distributor. So you will have to see what happens. You may have to run a crank trigger. Your welcome to borrow the EPM to see how it fits with your set up.

An internal shaft and outer sleeve is all it is, right? You all are the masters of the Bridgeport and lathes, so get to making chips!

Thanks! Right now we're debating: do you spend $275 on something you have to fuck around with anyway, or do you start from scratch with a way cheaper piece of shit? Or some combination of both? Either way it spells another blown weekend for me. :nut:

No need to get all sandy AF, i already told you i would do this on the monarch. All you will have to do is spend 20 minutes engraving the middle finger on the top of this piece of shit!

take a stock dist, make 2 reluctor wheels and throw in 2 hall effect sensors.. cheaper than the epm, and not tough to do if you've got access to a cnc

I hope to see this thing at some local cruise nights this year! I can imagine it now..."Why's that stock looking Capri wearing 17's have a chute on it?" :chacha: This car is the awesome.

It is a Wolfe mount. The main mount has been on the car since it was at Shaunthony's garage. I installed the part under the bumper when Shaun and Anthony were fabbing the turbo kit still. I finally got around to drilling the outside mount and parachute. With a tubing bender it really is a easy mount to make. But it was just easier to buy a done kit as they had enough work to finish.

Helps slowing it down after the time jump. Hopefully no crashing into trees, signs or barns.

haha I might have to put the chute on to confuse some people. haha I can't wait for spring. I have had enough of this cold and snow!
