Who did you have the machine work done by? Seems like you got it back fast.

I had Baker Machine do the refresh. I use them for mild builds and refresh. For serious stuff I use Stealy Performance in Illinois.

Well I got some stuff done tonight, I've been losing motivation so I had to just muscle through this.

Did something a little different with my battery box install. Bought a universal kit and modified it a little bit.

Instead of it hanging out on the right side and sitting up high, I thought I'd sink it into the spare tire well. Ran into a few obstacles; first, the kit came with studs to hold the battery down. The kit wanted you to have a nut and washer on the bottom and a nut on top. The gas tank sits flush up against spare tire well, so I had to modify that. I welded the washer on the bottom of the stud, so that problem solved.

Onto the next issues. The middle of the spare tire well sits up higher than the outsides. So I was going to sound deaden the spare tire well anyways, so I just layered the front to even out the box and help with any vibrations from the new pump mount.

THEN, the studs were not threaded all the way down, so I couldn't get the nuts to tighten up against the box SO I rethreaded the rest of the rods. Then had to trim up the rod so the battery lid could go on.

So, here it is. I will be running wire soon. Running 2 gauge to a starter solenoid mounted in the back, then right to my starter. Then a 4 gauge to my power distribution block in the drivers fender. Then running a ground to the body, then directly to the block. And somehow running all of this through a cutoff switch.

I know all of this is simple crap, and this explanation is way to long for the end result. But, it's my thread damn it!!

The electrical part is boring. Are you going to be using welding cable? I bought a crimper at the welding store to put ends on the cable. Worked pretty good.

Yes I'm using welding cable. I have a hammer crimper I use on forklift cable. I just need to get my butt back out there, this is the boring part.

Got a few more things done and a few more parts.

My electrical is coming along, it looks like balls now because I'm not quite done, but gives you an idea. The pic is looking at the back of the car, Starter solenoid on the left, cutoff switch up top and 200amp fuse going to my distribution block up front. Far left, you can't see in the pic, is my ground stud where all my shiz grounds from the body all the way up to the block. My starter wire is also ran along with my starter solenoid trigger wire that's Y's from the actual starter to my solenoid. Then I got my shutoff switch in place and the stud drilled through the plate, so I can just pop the plate off when I'm at the track.

OK, enough of the boring crap. Got my turbos!!

OK, quick update. My wiring is done! My fuel pump relay is installed, batt relocate wiring is finished, remote starter solenoid is working and safety cutoff switch is in place. Cut the carpet around the battery. Only thing I need to do is make a board to support the carpet around it since it's pretty floppy.

I got my pump to prime and build pressure, and it's pretty darn quiet.

I'm almost done with my intercooler mounting. Took my a/c condenser brackets and modified them to lower the intercooler another few inches. Had to cut a little bit of my bumper support, but it's sitting perfect right now. Just need to finish the upper mounts and make some tabs to center the lower mounts. It's like this car was made to have an intercooler in it!

I had to remove the factory power steering cooler ( just a line in a loop ). So I'm going to get a tiny oil cooler and mount it next to the intercooler. After that, the engine/trans will go in, I will finish up my catchcan setup and wait on the hotside. Which it should be here in the next week or two, so I better move my ass!!

If you're going to get that oil cooler to replace the factory power steering cooler, don't worry about it. They really aren't needed.

That intercooler looks nice in there. I thought you would have had to cut up the front more.
