is that a flowmaster 2.5" - single 3" merge? if so, thats the same damned thing i was going to do with one haha, looks like it worked great.

also, if i were you, id put a screen on that turbo at least. being into the fender lke that, god knows what you might get up in there

Yes it is and it worked out killer! Saved me the headache of making one. I will have a screen on the turbo for certain, just haven't made it yet.

something to keep in mind with having the downpipe there, if for any ungodly reason you start blowing excessive oil out the downpipe (turbo seals, engine, etc) your going to be in for one hell of a ride.

I know, but I can't seem to find any other way to route this damn 5" exhaust anywhere.

It is ending there unless someone has a kick ass idea of another place for me to stick a 5" pipe, lol. I would say it weighs ~45lbs maybe. I am finally building the brace for it today.

split it into two 3" pipes and snake them past the k-member. Or 3.5" if you can fit it.

If i was there with the car or had a fox-body to play with i'd help ya out finding a place to put the 5" DP. there is a guy on here with a 5.0 cougar with a 5" all the way back

If I was to build tubular manifolds in place of the truck manifolds I could make it happen with the 5".

Why not just go straight out the bumper cover with the DP?

I was going to run it out the side of the fender, but I just couldn't draw myself to cut a hole in the car. I still might give in and do that though.

My 4in. exhaust is ran similiar, but I have a couple 90* bends and run a pipe straight 4inch pipe 1/2 way through the a-arm and dump it towards the middle of the car. I get a little moisture out of the exhaust and would be nervous dumping it in front of the tires. Especially at 41 eggggggggggg

Here's a pic. with the exhaust portion that goes to the rearend. Where the flange is at is how I always run it.

I think i'll give in and cut the hole in the fender and shoot it straight out the side. God damnit!

Doing that is worth almost a tenth in he 1/4 too as far as the infared beams are concerned.

PM SLOW N2O in ctr and ask him what he thinks about lifting a head and spraying a little water on the tires at 41. haha

I saw you asking about the Big Stuff on tech in some guys for sale thread. My buddy with that Motion Phase 3 camaro has one out of that car. It's brand new, it was in the car for 2 dyno pulls before the retard tuner Corey wrecked the motor. He'd let it go for 2 g's.

Not much progress here. I picked up a new set of Greg Welds and decided to send them back. I got the coolant catch can and oil catch can mounted up. I got my vacuum manifold in and put the fittings in it. I also embarked in another project... mini tubs, doh!
