1990 Mustang...

    Update...


    Car is almost finish... Will be done this weekend and delivered back to the shop...

    The tin work won't be riveted in... Instead celco in so I can trim it and move it around for when I need to trim or run a few things by it...

    Parachute handle is almost done... The chute mount itself won't be installed until the wing is installed later...

    Everything is done now...

    Tin work completed... I'll rivit in them later after I run lines and have the alum polished or anodized...

    Now it's time to throw it up on the rotisserie here soon and work on the underside... And prep the rest of the cage and interior for some primer and paint...

    Got the car back last night... Threw it up on the lift...

    The rear tanks had to be modified to fit over the coil over brackets...

    Tonight majority of the suspension comes off... I will scotch bright and degrease the under side... Let it dry and chassis saver it... Then flip it back over and work on the inside...

    Last night took a bunch of degreaser and waxer to the underside of the car with scotch bright pads and red shop rags to clean it up of loose dirt and grim before I Chassis Saver it...

    So after we cleaned up the underside... I wanted to seal up the underside of the car since the floor pans were cut up and the wheel tubs weren't fully welded... I don't want smoke coming inside the car duing a burnout... So I took body caulk/seam sealer to the underside of the car to seal the tubs, floor pans, and wherever needed to be sealed...

    Tonight the trans gets yanked out and the underside will got painted and some of the inside also...


    Got a bunch of new parts that I will get pictures later...
    Team Z upper and lower control arms... Tow hook... And wing from Team Z...


    Also the Stroud Air Activated Parachute Release system showed up...

    this is a good-looking build. I got a real kick out of the trailer hitch in first pics. :2thumbs:

    Painted some of the cage over the weekend... I ran out of small brushes and tried to use a 4inch wide brush... Didn't work so well... I'll be going back over certain areas again with smaller brushes... And yes I know... I missed a lot of areas...
