Did you consider using the bigger flywheel like stinger sells That uses a 5.0 clutch & bell?

Yes but I 'm most likely going C4. If I go to a TKO then I will use a SBF neutral balance flywheel re-drilled for the lima bolt pattern.

Not sure yet. Only made 224 in silver in '86 and only 67 of them with leather. Jake will get one of them.

Got the MS & been working out the bugs for the last 3 weeks. Got Jake's car (my son) tuned for lower boost (17psi) lol. I am blowing off the clutch and can't get anymore at this point. It's driveable so we can use it for shows if we take it easy until winter. Will be getting 05-09 bullet wheels with nitto drag radials in the rear.

Started tearing into my car to access current condition and see what it needed. I feel the dark side of the force pulling on me hard (thanks to TDmkr, Sarg & Ducbrian) for this build.

Im in the middle of a 2.3 ranger turbo build myself, and waiting on pistons and rods. Are you using just a TFI distributer for ignition? I'm glad I didn't wait on CP pistons. Diamond is suppose to have a set one in 10 days from order, but I'll see. Any idea what cam came with the aluminum head?

Diamond makes a great 2.3 piston. You will be happy with them. I have a custom ground cam I with solid lifters. I don't have the exact specs as I got it third hand and my friend it trying to get them from his buddy. Its supposed to be closer to an Essy 2277 but it sounds a lot tamer. Part to that may be due to the full 3" exhaust.

Got a new ride. Trying to figure out how to build. Need to keep it simple and still fun to drive. Not really wanting to cage it. Just a fun street cruiser. 166695(1).jpg #ad

Famous last words from every gearhead:)

It looks real nice, I'd go freshened up 5.0 to GT40 specs except for a custom hydraulic roller, then add a single T67 with an intercooler and supporting equipment.

Aww, who am I kidding......sleeper style 363 low deck stroker with a smooth idling cam, and a 76mm turbo!

Ughhhhhhh I miss my SVO. I've had a number of cars over the years but my SVO is the one I constantly regret selling. :-(
    Any updates on the beast?
