I bought the car off Gus and it flies, probably 2700# and with 600rwhp it is lots of fun. Gus built a real nice car, it is as nice as the pictures look.

Ran the car the first time tonight. Couldnt make any boost in 1st, pretty much a bog through out first. On the street that isnt a problem from a roll, but at the track it is different.

Ran 101 in 1/8th and 131 in 1/4, picking up 30mph I should be able to get the 1/8th up to 110mph or more shouldnt I if I can leave under power? It pulls hard in 2nd and like a rocket in 3rd. Super fun car, everyone loved it and wanted to know about it.

Took it out, it makes a ton of power but needs a 3500+ stall to make boost before 200 feet out and the converter I have was stalling about 2500, figured I'd try this other setup out. Its sitting in my garage right now. Makes alot of power for a 4.3 thats for sure.

I really like you set-up. After seeing this make me very serious about doing a blow-thru carb turbo set-up. :2thumbs:

Would have loved to see what the 6 pot would have done with the right converter. If your interested in selling it, please let me know. I'd love to have that thing in a 2wd s-10 blazer.

Yeah I'll sell the whole setup pretty cheap, let me know, I'll have to see if Gus's buddy still wants it or not. His buddy was just interested in the long block, not the turbo kit anyway. Where are you located? Im in eastern PA.

My mother just passed away and left me her 1980 Pontiac Sunbird. It sat in her garage for 10 years except when my brother came by every couple of months and took it out for a drive. I put a new battery in it and it started up after a few pumps of the accelerator. Nice car all original. She want my son and I to work on it together and fix it up. I am thinking about putting a V6 in it and a better transmission. Anyone know what V6 would bolt up without having to modify the motor mounts or anything else? I know some of these cars, and the Monza's, came stock with a V6 and I am curious if anyone knows if they were set up the same as the 4 cylinders so I can just drop one in and bolt it up. Let me know if you know of an V6 engine that would just bolt right in.
