Machine shops for Teksid block work Tx

    As the title says, I am needing to find a machine shop that is able to bore and hone a teksid block near Tyler Tx. Are there any good options?

    The liners are a thin 0.093" thick. If it is a blown application I wouldn't hone much more than .007-.010". Unblown street .020 is marginally ok.

    I agree. It is for a friend, and it is standard bore now, so we are just trying to find a shop that can take it .010 over so it is round and straight again.

    Any shop with a power hone, and any kinda skill should be able to do what you want. It's a pretty common practice to hone .010"
