Not sure what you're trying to do here as FAST is only designed around the GM IAC.

The GM units are stepper motors while the Ford motors are pulse width modulated. The two technologies are not compatible.

That is correct, you will have to obtain an adaptor plate and a GM TPI " screw in " style IAC motor. You should be able to get the adaptors from Dale Cherry at Berrel Auto.

x3 They are completely different styles and are not compatible.

Check out the megasquirt forums. A couple of vendors send IAC blocks which allow you to run a GM stepper IAC in just about any vehicle. Fast probably has a similar solution. The megasquirt can also be easily modified to run a PWM IAC.... perhaps the same thing can be done with the FAST?

Yep, we sell one of these blocks - it uses a Jeep stepper IAC and can work on most engines.

I don't see why it shouldn't work with FAST or other systems that use a stepper IAC.
