Wilwood brakes and Modified stock spindles

    I have the racecraft 2" drop spindles pn# 300102 (aftermarket brakes) I wanted to go with a wilwood set-up because i will drive the car on the street a lot. I was looking at the wilwood WIL-140-7589D and looked at the spindle modifications for these brakes and they do not look like the mounting holes on the spindle. What part number from willwood are you guys using for these drop spindles?? i would love to go with stange and make it easy for me but i have heard not to run those pro brakes on the street. thanks!

    Im gonna end up keeping and modifying my stock spindles, so brake choice will be an ease :2thumbs: anyone know a powder coater in SE michigan??

    I'm gonna hold on to em for a couple weeks, I know someone that may need em but if they don't, I'll throw em up for sale

    Brakes arrived today! Got the spindles modified to work with them, and test fit everything. Now i gotta take them off and get em coated! :2thumbs:

    Just curious, what did you have to do to the spindles to make them work with the Willwoods? I am thinking of using the same brakes. Thanks for any advice.

    I had to cut the original caliper mounting ears off and drill and tap the dust plate holes for a 3/8 bolt for the wilwood bracket. Here are some pictures..

    sandblasted the spindles and drilled out the hole for my 5/8 bumpsteer :chacha: goes to powder coat tommorrow. This turned into my spindle mod thread instead of racecraft but oh well, maybe some people would like to see it!
