Will T304 stainless work ok for exhaust tips?

    I read the sticky above, and saw where T304 isn't good at all for headers, or turbo flanges, but I was wondering if it would be ok for exhaust tips at the end of the tail pipes?

    Will it discolor, can I weld it?
