I ordered a reduced base circle spec camshaft, in order to run the factory hydraulic roller lifters within this 393 I'm building.

While assembling the short block this morning, viola.

Cam Motion Custom Cam IS NOT a reduced base circle. I wish they were open on Saturdays.

I assume this core ID will cross to a factory 5.0 grind; if it's the same it's incorrect. (Since I needed a reduced base circle core.)

    Disappointing. :(

Here are the complete specs for those whom may have been interested:

After a quick phone call this morning, it was just as I suspected; a standard core that was ground as a result of a "minor" paperwork error, not a big deal really, Cam-Motion will have the new cam sent out tomorrow. Carolyn was very accomadating, and courteous.

Identical grind w/ reduced base circle for 351W Retro-Fit.

I just got a cam spec'd by them and was blown away at how small it is.

    220/214 .526/.523 115 LSA

    For a 377 with a T-76 (street/strip)

But hey, they know what they're doing better than I do. I even called to confirm that they had spec'd out a cam for MY car and not somebody elses.
