Driveshaft - Mustang: will 94 driveshaft work in 87-93 car?

    Is a driveshaft from a 94-95 car going to work in an 87-93 car? FRPP only lists one driveshaft for 87-95, but D&D lists 2 driveshafts, one for each generation.

    I donno if this helps any but one of my buddies had a tremec with aluminum drive line in a 95 and put the trans and driveline in a fox I think they are same not completely sure but I would say it would work because only difference would maybe be the yoke

    87-95 are the same driveshaft length, the transmission is longer in the 94-95 but the wheelbase is longer.But if you put a tremec in a 94-95 a 5/8 spacer is added between rearend and driveshaft. (A tremec and bell is same length as stock 87-93 t5) 96+ went to the t45 transmission which has a 31 spline output shaft but not sure on length never measured one.

    Look of FRPP site to get the numbers but I am almost certain that they have the same part number. They list them seperate cause people with 94-94 mustangs are use to paying more for their parts.

    I'm running a 96 aluminum DS on my 89 hatch because of the 31 spline output. I have a TKO 600 MMR PT900.

    Fit's perfect.
