I ordered a generic coilover setup for the front of my Mustang and I believe they are like some 225# ers which is way too stiff. Car has a 5.3/4L80/S475 swap in it. Anyone have any suggestions?

130,150 prob. 14" 130s on mine. They bow a little and rub on the strut body, going to switch to 12" 130s to fix that.

    Car weighs about 2650.

I also think a 125-150# spring would work right. A friend of mine has an alum head 331 N/A in his 85 and I thought he has 175/14 springs but he swears they are 225/14. Either way it rides like a road race car! haha. No give at all in the front. He will be going to a softer spring soon.

I've tried a few different sizes. My SN95 weighs 3375lbs

    14-175 Too stiff,
    14-125 way too soft,
    12-150 Just right

Tom: on a car at your power level I think 14/175 is better. Faster radial car needs stiffer. Stick cars needing rapid weight transfer can do 130 or 150. I tried 150 springs and they didn't work, rose too fast even with struts locked down. I have 175s in it now and 200/225 both in trailer.
