What thickness for sheet metal floors???

    I am mocking up my floor panels with cardboard in my pro street 67 nova. I was wondering what is the proper guage of steel to use for floorpans? Thanks

    at least the same gauge sheetmetal maybe one step thicker

    at least 12ga I would think. it would be stronger if yuo bead rolled it as well.

    dude 12 ga. is almost 1/8'' we use 20 Ga. steel and .024 when we use 4130

    Thanks TeamZ I was hoping you would chime in. I've always admired the quality of work you guys do. I thought 12 seemed kinda big and I was planning on 20 so that what ill go with. Thanks!
