Something in the 80mm range. A S480 with the 96mm 1.32 is the first thing that comes to mind for me, but it would get a T6 flange if its possible.

s475 should do it for 800hp on the street, s480 would give room to grow, t6 96mm exhaust wheel.

Thx, ben. That is a great turbo, but I would literally have to change everything, especially on the hot side. I'm thinking e bay gt45 would be my best bet. I know everybody thinks e bay stuff is junk, but I'm still experimenting, and I want to keep the test costs down, lol. Looks like I'm going to scrap a perfectly good T70 because it is just too small

Your 500 na hp is what dictates a large compressor (and turbine). The gt45 has a decent turbine, but the 69mm old school compressor is going to really struggle if your na hp numbers are legit. Even the 475's much more modern compressor would be in or beyond the far right efficiency island at that hp. Not that you can't make hp with the 45, but it will limit your hp potential, and may give up a little sooner being pushed to its limit.

Is twin t70 an option for you? Might be an alright match, you'd only need one more. It does double the cost of wastegates though :/

yes, i know. the matchbot maxed out and the no. 6 dot would not get on the map, and that turbo was like over $3,000. can't afford it. the small T70 is fun for a little while, but poops out pretty fast. i may tear the whole thing out in a year or so. should have done my homework, and gone twins. oh, well, you live and learn. thx for taking the time to respond in detail

You don't need a $3000 turbo, a genuine s475 can be bought for 600 or 900-1k for an 80mm. Also, there's always the China versions. The 475 can also be upgraded to an 80 down the road if you choose.
