I have searched what I could, I always get sent here. So here goes. I have a 250 that I would like to run a turbo on. My goals would be to help with overall tq and performance. And simply wondering if adding a turbo is worth the benefit. The engine would be going in a 66 c10 that would see car shows and weekend cruiser. I would use the turbo manifold from 12bolt.com but not sure on what size turbo I need. Thanks

This is a weekend cruiser but I would love to see 350 to 400 ftlb of torque would like to have performance of mild 350. Not trying to make max effort and not looking for high rpm power and be reliable.

Well, I've got an s10 with a 4.3 v6 and I'm running a horsetail h1c from an early 5.9 Cummins. It spools great and seems to be a pretty good fit for what I chose to do with it. May not be optimum, but it does the job for cheap...I picked it up at the scrap yard probably ten years before I ever did anything with it. It looked really nice and had a sticker on it that said remanufactured, so I figured it was a good score. The rest I built to make it happen. I wouldn't see you running into a problem finding a good used unit from a Dodge guy who swapped out for a larger unit. Just a thought.

go ole cummins hx35 might be a good one. They seem to work good on 4.3-5.0 pretty well.
I looked for a used one for a while to put my 4.3.
