Opinions/experience on wastegate

    Have a new PTE 46mm gate to use w/ the BW400SX3...enough gate for this turbo? [Plumbed into both sides well below the turbine inlet.]

    Depends on what you are trying to do. If you are trying to run low boost with a large turbo/ci a larger gate can be helpful, if you are trying to run high boost a gate with a smaller outlet can be better as you are not fighting the pressure against the larger valve to keep shut, but there are limitations to each, and size of engine/turbo and even the type of fuel you use can make a difference. Co2 can let you get away with running a large gate on the street and you will have much better boost control with it. Post up what setup you are using this on and maybe we can be of more help.
