wastegates/bov location

    was wondering when running wastegates is it better to run it closer to the headers or the turbo.
    for the bov closer to the turbo or the intake what is the best way to run them.

    i know that u want it angled for the best flow but it dose not say closer to the turbo or the headers is better.
    looking to see if it matters where the wastegate's go closer to headers or the turbo.

    Wastegates closer to the header. The BOV should be after the intercooler and before the throttlebody.

    BOV close to throttle body because that's where the back pressure wave starts. The further you let the wave go the slower the recovery time will be for the air to get flowing in the right direction.

    Waste gate needs to have good exhaust flow as has already been shown. I'm not sure if distance from headers has much to do with anything
