That was from an engine dyno, much easier to load the motor right up and get full boost at very low RPM's on an engine dyno, I bet it wouldn't respond nearly the same in a car on a chassis dyno.

I have been looking at this motor for a long time,
Every time I dig up some new info the spec's
    are different.
    Mainly the bore/stroke combo.
It's like no two people can keep there story straight!
I was looking for someone with some first hand
    experience with it.

I don't have first hand experience with it, but right on the Banks site it says 3.5" stroke and 4.125" bore.

As far as what turbo's they use, that was in the link that you posted.

    They say it's a 366 cid but 3.5 stroke and 4.125 bore makes a 377 what's up with that?

A 3.5" stroke with a 4.125" bore makes a 374, Banks says 375 (read further on that same page), which is close enough (they rounded up, I rounded down).

The other page says they tested the banks twin turbo package on a 366, I don't see anywhere that they offer a 366 complete engine.

Why don't you just call them and have them answer all your questions?

They must have updated there info lately,
they where saying it was a 6.0 liter 366 cid.

    I have called and I can't get a straight
    answer out of them.

If I'm going to buy this crate motor I what to
    know what I'm paying for.

The only reason I questioned them is they
were using a oddball stroke it get a 366 why?
When there's so many popular bore/stroke
    combs for a sbc.

Don't get that thing. They are overpriced and not all that powerful for what they are. I fooled with one of their combo's quite a bit and it was very dissappointing.

In August of 2005 David McCoy called me regarding this very engine. David built a killer 66 Nova and the engine he purchased was the exact same engine that was featured on Horsepower TV. He even showed me the autographed plaque that accompanied the engine. I was called because the thing would get out of its own way. Mind you, this was the "dyno tuned" combo that they were touting as turn key 1000 horsepower. The engine had too many problems to list. The included fuel system was a joke. The tune was obviously never used on an actual engine. David McCoy had to ship the engine back to Banks. I don't know what happened after that. Here is a link to McCoy's killer 66 Nova. http://www.mccoysautocreations.com/Nova.html

What is the price anyway? I can imagine that you could build a much better combo for what it costs. Banks had a good idea to offer a compete package ready to run, but it sounds like he didn't deliver waht was promised.
