Bought 2 pumps today thinking they were Walbro 255's. Come to find out they are rated @ 190lph! :bang: I bought 2 of them to go on my 413ci bb street car w/an 88mm. I will be running b/w 10-15 lbs of boost maybe 800-1000hp. I found a chart showing that these 190lph pumps will supply 55gph @ 10psi where the 255lph pump will supply 75gph @ the same pressure. Would these pumps be safe for my goal?? :2thumbs:

At 10psi of boost the fuel pump will be 10psi above the bas fuel pressure. This will be around 50psi. 800Hp would be pushing it and 1000Hp is a definate no.

I'm runing two Bosch 044 inline...
Check the pressure the flow numbers are bassed on ??
Some are 3 bar others 5 bar..
You may have to change the pumps to proper 255 or bigger pumps...
I have a one way valve on each pump..

Swapped the 190's for 255's like I originally planned. This is a new setup that I had Bosch 420's on. If anyone doesnt know, metal shavings WILL fubar Bosch 420 fuel pumps. NEVER EVER run your pumps without filters before the pumps :bang:! I didn't have them on there just yet and wasn't in a big hurry b/c the whole fuel system including tank was new. BUT, I decided to do some work and drilling in the trunk while I had the pickup out of the tank. Bad decision....!?

I went with the GSL392's and they seem to do the job. Went to the track Sun. and made 12lbs of boost and didn't seem to run out of fuel. :2thumbs:
