Way to go Tim. This couldn't have happened to a nicer guy that has stuck with a blow-thru carb no matter how many have tried to get him to go EFI.

On Thursday I took the car to Dave at Team Z so he could double check all my work and set up the suspension so I could hit the track for the first time this year. I wanted his input and for him to work his magic because everything was replaced after hitting the wall last year. All the front suspension (K Member, Arms, Struts, Springs, Camber Caster Plates, Spindals etc...) and the rear upper arms as all that stuff was bent. I can't thank Dave Zimmerman enough.

Off the trailer last night it went an easy 8.84 at 169, second pass adjusted a few things, but no big changes, went 8.30 @ 177. That was the end of qualifying, but was headed in the right direction. First Round I had Dave Hinzman who is a low 7 second player, so I tune it up a little more, I beat myself with a red light and he never left the line, he broke! Well thats racing, but it went 8.03 at 182.

I adjusted a few things, moved the AMS around a little (Never changed boost all night, was making 22 psi).

Since I was out of competion, I went up to make a test hit after they ran Drag Radial, and the car left nice and went 7.86 @ 183. It felt really good, nice easy pass, car went straight, like a Sunday drive!

We did a quick turn around to make one more pass before the event ended and backed up the last pass with a 7.85 @ 184 and 145 in the 1/8.

I am happy, it is starting to make progress but a long way to go. Again the car was on a string all night, nice and straight!

That was on the 325 Radial. The car was leaving good but not hard. Time to make it leave hard, was a 1.36 60ft, with the tires on the ground.

I am pumped, and ready to go faster.

Wow, good job! That is moving really good for such a low boost number. What was the 1/8 mile et?
