I just picked up a couple older Turbonetics T76 turbos, with Q trim wheels and .96 ar housings.
    My engine is a 383 sbc, 8 to 1 , TFS super 23, 230cc heads, Cammotion blower grind. 241/246 @ .050, mid 500 lift and 114 lsa.
I also got two Tnetics deltagate mark 2 wastegates in the deal
I'm probably going to go twins, but would one of these work for a street strip setup? My 69 Nova went 9.7 @ 139 with a YSi, I would like to go at least that.
    Any help/comment are appreciated.
    Thanks, Steve

One is little small for a 383, use both. Depending on the rest of the setup it could be laggy or be just fine.

You will be having some serious back pressure issues at upper RPM with that. My buddy has a 7868 Turbonetics on the 370 LQ and he keeps destroying head gaskets and heads at the track. It will spool instant on the street but I wouldnt plan on winding it out too high. I think my buddy also shifts around 7300ish through a TH400 on his 370...

we could get some smaller turbine housings if you get it together and spools to slow with the twins

or we could get you a single s475 for about 650.00

I'm thinking about some undivided, .81, tang housings. could I get some prices?
I also need a compressor wheel. Turbonetics pn 21353.
Are the housings and wheels turbonetics only, or are they re-branded Garrett?

If that 383 was at least 9:1cr or higher, both those turbos with q-trim wheels and .96ar would work with a good tune.

Well, I got some .68, tang housings, and some updated comp. wheels (one had a small chunk missing). They are q-trim wheels too.
I want to run pump gas, that's why I went with 8.2 comp. Do you think with the right cam, it's going to work?
