Would the gt45 be good to close to 700rwhp?

Spend $650 and get an s475, blow both of those away and you know you're getting a quality unit!

if its in your budget then go with an s400 borg but if your set on budget turbo id recomend the gt45 over the on3 anyday as will alot of other ppl,me personaly ive never had on3 but no 2 other guys who do and they both lasted under 10k,i have a gt45 here myself but havnt ran it yet but it looks great real beefy shaft,as for the 700 hp im not sure if it will support it or what the rest of your combo consist of, but take a look at the 50+ page post on here "some info on the ebay gt45 y2k2004" or somethin along them lines tons of builds on there with the gt45,

The ebay gt45 will struggle to make 700whp on a decent 351w, the exhaust wheel in that turbo is OK but the 69mm compressor wheel is a little small, 600whp MAX and its done on anything over 350ci.

Another vote here for the S400. I have had one for YEARS (7 hard years; sees 23 lbs everytime I drive it) and no turbo issues.

Honestly for what they're asking for those, it only makes sense to pony up another $200 and get the s475.

The on3 76 WILL NOT get you there. The exhaust turbine on the 76 is the same one they use on the 70. 64.5mm No experience with the China gt45's. . If you get a BW, make sure it will physicly fit first. Those are some big turbo's. I have the on3 351 kit and couldnt fit anything but a small frame turbo. 3G alternator was in the way, and didnt want to relocate it.

I've actually found a local dealer who is getting me a really good deal on a precision 7675 that I'm gonna get. And I plan on moving the alternator to the drivers side to help with fitment

I got an S475 from Forced Inductions for $649 plus whatever the shipping was to my location. It was still under $700 after shipping.

650 + shipping or 700 shipped seems to be the going deal,,, those bw turbos are heavy, i think the last one we shipped was 45.00 just for shipping (45-48#'s)

How bout a PT88. Your looking at 8s you might need a bigger turbo than a 75/76mm. 1200.00 bucks was the going rate last I checked and it will get you to 8s more likely than a 76mm.

True, I thought I measured my T6 S475 to be 52 lbs which will be a concern just trying to build a strong enough mount for it.
