On stock internals I would suggest a TC78 and limit the boost to 12lbs with a good tune.

I would say a minimum of a T76....Will it be a full street car?

For the money on a stock motor an S475 T-6 would be fine.
    Single JGS 50mm W/G and a 56mm BOV.

You could also try a search. Lots of people have asked that question maaaaaaannnnnnnny times before. Im not trying to be a jerk just tyring to keep you from getting a smart assed answer from someone less patient than those who have replied. Stick around you'll learn a bunch. Chris

Its set up for a t4 flange . Its a street/strip deal. Would a 88 be too big?

88 would be good.. but the S475 would support more power. I am putting it on my 408.

Just got done dynoing a 370 ci ls based engine, it has truck manifolds on backwards with a PT88 thru a th400 it made [email protected]. Makes boost real fast and makes good power. Nothing wrong with a t4 housing.

When I was doing this research I found that a PT88 would make good power, but the backpressure becomes an issue. You do have more head bolts per cylinder, so that will help with gasket retention.

He said his kit was setup for a T4, although it wouldn't be hard to change over to a T6 if there's enough room for the head unit.

If you want to go T6 you can use a GT47 exhaust housing on the PT88. Just FYI

I would go with at least a GTS wheel in the back minumum for backpressure concerns, but a 76, 78, 80, 88 on the compressor side is all determined with what your future plans are, all of them can be gated to lower boost pressures with lag being a concern the bigger you go, but better to buy big enough once then not big enough and have another expense after you have a built motor to take the boost you want to run.

I would say a PT80GTS for good spool and enough power up top, it would be a good all around balance in my opinion that would suit both your current configuration and not limit a built configuration within reason.
