Whats the spool up like? I have a T76 on and it has more lag than I want for my DD. I keep hearing the 4 bangers are running these so an extra 4 cylinders and I would think it would spool faster.

    ANyone have a dyno chart??

They will spool up around the same as your T76, due to the shaft assembly being fairly heavy with the larger shaft and the S-trim turbine wheel is pretty hefty. They are great turbos though, make awesome power and are tough as nails.

oh, I was hoping it would spool faster. I may drop to a 67 or 70 then. I miss the street fun of my 60 but love the high HP of the T76

I have an S372 on my Supra and it spools at 4500 rpm. I would imagine on your V8 it should come in around the mid 3k range. We have dynoed against the 42r on several occasions and on all of them we have made a good bit more power with the S372.

So will the S374 give me some fun on the street too? I miss having the T60-1 because of the quickness on the street but you cant hit 700rwhp with it either. I need a in the middle turbo...low end street fun but some top end. I would almost rather have some more low end and just throw nitrous on later for the track

If you need something in that range with quick spool up, then go with a TC76. Spools about 500rpms sooner then any of the GT's or the BW's and will easily reach 700rwhp.

Maybe i'll just do a Borg Warner T67...Good spool time but still has some top end

If that is all you are looking for I would look at the S366. The old 60-1 you had comes with a 59mm inducer and a ptrim turbine wheel. The S366 has many good exhaust sides that are a bit larger than the p trim and it also comes with a 66mm inducer on the compressor side. You will have great/instant spool and plenty enough compressor for up to 780-800whp.

I had the Bullseye S368 on my car and it was a great unit to drive on the street. I have also had a few customers with 4 bangers make almost 850 with it.

I think im going to trade my 76 for a 70 with a smaller AR. Running a .96 on my 76 now.

What if I put a .81 or a .6? on my 76? WOuld it help?

Yes it would help alot. Put a pressure sensor in your exhaust manifold and let me know what turbine pressure you have. You can raise it up a good bit to get your throttle response to be better. No more than 1.5 - 1. IMO

maybe instead of switching I can just swith out my AR first and see what happens

First step would be to get a pressure reading before the turbine housing.

So get a reading on the compressor side at WOT and on the exhaust side at WOT?

Yes and another place we need a pressure number from is the intake plenum.
