Turbo I.D HELPPPP K27 Turbo? sourced from 6 litre mercedes diesel crane

    Can anyone help me identify this turbo?
    Compressor side has 53271013074 E PRATS *K inside triangle emblem* GKALSI10Mg Hot side has:
    SIMO
    27 85 99
    13

    Im trying to get an Idea as to whether its worth playing with to see how it goes on a 6ltr v8, the turbo was free so I cant lose, almost no shaft play, low end float, but just have no idea will it choke the engine too much?
    or if I run a large wastegate will it be fine?
    only thinking of running 5-6psi I cant seem to find what it would have boosted the crane to standard...?

    Measure the compressor and turbine wheels.

    Its a shame if thats the case, agreed its much too small always had an inkling, not keen on a twin setup so itll go into a box and wait for another project to come along, maybe the 4litre in the work truck just gained a turbo haha
