i was wonderign how a tubo would do on a auto trans or would it work better with a manual trans

it depends on your hp level and intent with the car....auto will work better for higher hp apps and in something you dont have to drive long distances on the highway....although with gearing and converter you could make it livable.

stick is good to 450-500hp imo. at that point you're going to start breaking stuff and its going to get very expensive, not to mention it'll be a handful to drive

 

i was wanting to put a twin turbo set up on a 400 small block

only gonna use it for the ocassional trip to town and to the track

 

th400 trans with mild mods and a good converter will prob work best

 

so a 400 small block with a 400 trans will work good with twin turbos
