Tuning with no compressor map

    Hi All,

    I have a bolt-on turbo from Tomei and they are unable to supply a compressor map, maximum exhaust gas temperature, or maximum rotor speed. My question is what is the best way to discover the surge line without damaging thrust bearings and oil seals.

    Precision doesn't publish compressor maps either. I used a 6262 and compared it to a borg unit.

    measure compressore wheel, compare to unit with similair specs that does have map.
