Does anyone have info on a garrett tv7701? I couldn't find much info on it. I got this turbo for free and wanted to use it on my gm 6.0 mustang project. I'm looking to run e85 with about 15psi. What can it support?

I have two of those on my 540 ci boat motor.
They spool up real quick and make lots of boost.

    I run E 85 fuel, 7000 rpms and 22 psi boost with A/W intercooler.
The compressor inducer is 65 mm and they have a T 6 turbine housing flange.

I would say that one of these is going to be a little small for your engine but that depends on what you want to achieve.

I am looking to replace them both with BW S 475's

Two t-6 turbos will be a bit much for a 6.0 you would probably be better off with one s-400 the compressor on the tv will be too small.

Im pretty sure anything can be done........ but you will probably spend more $$ trying to make the wrong turbo work with your engine than you would just buying the right one. An s400 is about $585 NEW IN THE BOX I would suggest selling the TV to someone who can use it and picking up a turbo. I want to add Im not trying to be harsh I just want t save you from throwing your money away for something you wont be happy with in the end. HTH Chris

Try Robert1320 a sponsor on here I think that is what he sells them for give or take. The s400 with the 75 mm compressor is rated for 1000hp last I checked.
