New coyote based “ Werewolf” cast iron block.

    I see that Ford has quietly unveiled this cast iron coyote based block.
    You can build it into a 5.6 and it is a very stout looking piece.
    Should be an option for high powered coyote builds.

    I would be really interested to see how the cylinder heads react to that extra displacement. Exciting development.

    As far as I know the release of the block has been delayed due to...... do I have to say it?
    I believe the price is supposed to be in the 5k range but that was not confirmed.

    Thanks. I think I'll stick with a sleeved block. My pockets aren't that deep.

    I agree, that price seems quite high to me also. If you look at what the new gas 7.3 crate engine goes for, $8150.00. I would think that the iron block coyote would be much cheaper, hopefully I am wrong on that price.
