Stator

    I didn’t see a transmission and driveline section so I posted this here....

    Any torque converter gurus here? Specifically about stators?

    082 stator vs 086. GM Sonnax units. I need some info and am stuck on a project. I want to make the right choice the first time. 245mm GM with a #0 impeller.

    I’m looking for the pros and cons of each and when one would be applicable over the other. I know the 082 is far more common, but when does the 086 have its place?

    Some recommend the 086 but it’s has very low multiplication.

    yeah, I was hoping he could provide me with some of his knowledge. I don’t think he is active on here anymore. I watched his YouTube videos and commend him for providing such great info on stator that other companies refuse to provide, but I’m still stuck.
