split pulse

    what are the advantage in split pulse exhaust housings ?

    (looking at garrett T04Z which has optional split pulse in some exhaust housing sizes)

    I searched this awhile back. with a very advanced hotside (tuned pulse, equal length...) it will spool faster. more important on a 4banger than a big v8.

    thanks for the feed back

    setting up for twins on V8 does it matter about the firing order when dividing the exhaust flow to each side

    also how much sooner would you expect this to spool up in RPM in a typical set up compaired to a standard housing with the same A/R

    yes

    the lhs manifold will be "messy" compared to rhs , unless you have 4-7 cam swop
